my experiments 4

Again a very crowded place. The painting becomes difficult in such places ,as crowd gathers around you immediately.Due to Recent terrorist attacks ,security at this place is tightened.Police also are inquisitive about paintings!

To avoid all this i just sketched it on smaller pad and sat at a quieter place inside the temple and painted this one.so it is half reality and half imagination. The feel of the space is similar on the spot as in painting, hence posting this one.Again grey and ochre combination.

I am going to try auroline , gamboj, other shades of yellow too soon.

What a challenge to paint under such circumstance and yet your paintings are so warm and free. It makes me happy to view your work. and to be able to share in part a moment of your reality, and your imagination!

I agree -great mix of reality and imagination. In my experience its hard to sketch moving subjects and changing light while people watch you work :)

I almost never paint in public because of interest from passersbye. It makes me tighten up when someone is leaning over my shoulder. My way of getting around it is to just snap a photo. You are very brave to fight those conditions and very successful at it!
