My experiment 3

The results of pynes grey and sap green are displayed today.I tried this combination where ever there were many trees and folliage. In cases where only stone buildings were to be painted, i used ochre and grey.

Hi Sanjeev, your experiments seem to be working! Love the colours you've used in these two. You also seem to be loosening up a bit - or am I mistaken ?

hi liz, yes i am loosening up.see this was an experiment, and i am not happy with these paintings atall, but why should we show all the best paintings only!Loosening is fine but there is too much of white left in these painting.another wash to bind is required,...
I wish to show even failed paintings,as it is a step towards improvement.Hope you agree withme.

I liked your paintings in last few days. Just two colours but they have all the potential! The words like good or failed work are very relative when it come to ART. The paintings which you feel are failed is something we are not even able to draw!

Hi again Sanjeev. Took another look and noted your comment. I think what I personally like the most is the fact that there is so much white. It makes the grey and green that much stronger. Again, it's a personal thing. There you go!

I agree that we should not only post our good work but show the process through the one's we are not happy with. I like your approach of using only two colors.
