mumbai visit

I visited mumbai on sunday, to see an exhibition at Jehangir art gallery.On way to the gallery i did sketches of some colonial structures.i am posting them here.

  1. fort area is full of such gothic architecture. third painting creates that feel.
    Rajabai tower looks little dwarfed (may be because no adjoining building or tree is drawn which could have provided some refernce point to compare height)

  5. yes ajay i was sitting on the busstop bench so could see only top portion,I cant imagine tower without its clock!! it is looking dwarfed...Frankly i did all sketches in fast mode and put washes at home,so didnot think much as an artist,which i shoud have done.Thanks for your input.
